THE PURPLE COAT, Figurative

Preparing for the performance.

TRUE STORY
Mark Landis pretended to be a Jesuit priest.
He was and perhaps is still an art forger.
He has forged dozens of art works and given
them to regional art museums in the U.S.
He also fancies himself a philanthropist.
He has not been arrested because he gave the works away.
People are interesting.
