When I was researching Van Gogh, I read that he painted night scenes plein aire. You've so nailed the night sky and even the highlighted areas from the moon shine! Good job, Bruce!
I read once that he wore candles on his hat so he could see his canvas.? I just used my memory for these, though. The full moon the last few nights was perfect.
